Hi there,

I was reading your site (found it via an OLD post on travel-to-honduras email group). I see you are having some issues about leaving your car in Ceiba (I wouldn't want to leave ANYTHING like a car that is as nicely cared for as that anywhere in Honduras without having friends to care for it). I don't know if you're into visiting people/places, but I have TONS of great contacts there because I volunteer there in Children's homes (orphanages, technically). The girls we are trying to adopt live very close to La Ceiba in La Masica (drop in at Proyecto Alcance if you want to meet some GREAT people and our girls too- they MAY even be able to lock your car away within their property if you become friendly with them- I'd trust them with anything, obviously. I hope you have a great journey, it sounds really exciting and something my husband and I would love to do sometime in the near future.

Any Latin or Central Americans reading this message board???

If yes, could you do us a favor and post information about gasoline in your countries?

Gas stations use code names like Regular, Super, SuperPlus, SuperPro Plus, SuperDuper, ESSO 3000, ESSO 5000, but nobody knows neither octane rating nor if gasoline contains lead (sin plomo o con plomo?).

Jimui: The Gypsy Den is relocating.. it will re-open in Kaunas, Lithuania soon. We'll keep you posted :-) There will also be free reliable wireless internet available :-))

David: We're finally in Costa Rica :-) As we said before - it is impossible to plan this trip. Actually to be completely correct it is possible, but nothing ever ever goes as planned :-))) If you're somewhere in the country - let us know!
